TMJ Is a localized pain disorder of the jaw

Causes of this disorder include:

  • Injury to the teeth/jaw
  • Grinding of the teeth
  • Misalignment of the jaw/teeth
  • Poor Posture
  • Stress
  • Arthritis

Symptoms of TMJ include:

  • Pain
  • Popping and Clicking of the jaw
  • Grinding of the bones that make up the jaw
  • Dislocation of the jaw with opening and closing the mouth

Manual Treatment For TMJ

  • Craniosacral work (including intra oral work)
  • Myofascial release
  • Neural reset
