Both are assisted tissue mobilization devices and are used the same way to help decrease fascial tissue fibrosis or painful knots and limited mobility of fascia, muscles, ligaments, tendons, and skin.

  • Increases circulation, increases heat within the tissue
  • Improves flexibility and plasticity of the soft tissue
  • Decreases pain

These tools aide in providing solutions to decreasing your pain and discomfort.

They aregenerally not used alone without the addition of stretching exercises and specific strengthening exercises along with changing certain habits that caused the initial problem.
